The members of VFX went into the studio during Harmonic Convergence weekend in 1987 and recorded the basic tracks for this six song EP. Over the next year, they visited various studios throughout Los Angeles to complete the album, and a video for Myriad Arising, shot at the Ventura Theater in December 1988.
